Irish-born American artist Maria Hoelscher has a long history of commissioned work in the US and abroad. She holds a Ph.D. in conseling and education and has blended psychology and art in her work and her teaching. Throughout the years she has developed a love for religious icons in both Eaastern and Western styles. This exhibit is mainly a show fo her evolving Western style of iconography.
